June is a city apartment dweller who grew up on the farm where Tress Flower Farm is located. The farming begins in her apartment where her kitchen island doubles as a seeding station and her daughter’s bedroom (while she is in college) serves as a nursery for emerging seedlings. At the moment, she lives with over 1000 seedlings and husband in Raleigh, NC. She considers the city her love and the farm her mistress. Hence, the name Tress, short for mistress.
